Math and Smiles!

This year, my school is departmentalizing. That means Kindergarten is being departmentalized. This is a new concept for me! I am so used to teaching all subjects {and I really do love teaching them all - it is going to be a touch transition for me!}

This year I am teaching Math and Science.  To get ready to be the best Math and Science teacher I can be, I have begun to look for some new manipulatives to help my kinders.

Well, when  Smilemakers contacted me and asked if I would like to review one of their products... I was so excited! I knew I needed something for my Math small groups!

I visited their great website, and the first thing I noticed was their notice of free shipping if you spend $49! I Love Free Shipping!!!!

And I love that you can shop by occupation! It makes it so easy to go and get great teaching products!

I ordered the Magnetic Ten Frame Answer Boards.

After I received my package, I could not wait to open the box!  Look at these cute boards!

 And, I love that my students can use a dry erase marker on them and they are magnetic!

 I plant to use these with my small groups!

I love Smilemakers! I can't wait to do some more back to school shopping!

Smilemakers offers Teacher Perks! Teachers can receive free shipping with any order of $49 or more {or flat rate shipping on any order of $48.99 or less}!  And....Teachers will receive special private sales and free gift orders! Wow! Don't  you love it when companies love teachers??? :)

They also have a Facebook page you can visit!

Go ahead! Visit their page or website! Don't you love it?  :)

Leave me a comment and let me know how you would use the Magnetic Ten Frames in your classroom! I love that I can use them with my math small group, but would love some more ideas on how to use them!

Oh these would be awesome to have! I would use them pretty much in small groups and also as a center for showing the number. My kids would love them! I am jealous I didn't get to review them! LOL

I LOVE math and science! That will be a sure treat to be able to stick to only two subjects, but you can still include reading into both. Hope everything goes good for you.

Departmentalizing in kindergarten? Wow! I had to smile cause I love teaching it all too! :0)

I saw those paddles in a catalog and didn't think they were magnetic. Now I am so glad you told me that because they can hold the paddles up to show the results.
